INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 20-30 perilla leaves
- 200g ground pork
- 150g tofu
- 🧅 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/2 stalk green onion, chopped
- 🥕 1/4 carrot, chopped
- 1 chopped chili
Seasonings
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- Pinch of black pepper
Batter Ingredients
- Coating flour as needed
- 🥚 3-4 eggs
PASOS
Finely chop all the prepared ingredients.
Mash the tofu using the side of a knife.
Combine all chopped and mashed ingredients in a bowl. Season with soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper.
Knead the mixture until it becomes sticky and cohesive.
Wash the perilla leaves thoroughly and coat both sides with flour.
Place a spoonful of the mixture onto a perilla leaf.
Fold the sides of the leaf inward and then fold the bottom upward to form a triangular shape.
Prepare the egg mixture in a bowl.
Dip the folded perilla leaf pancakes into the egg mixture.
Heat a pan with enough cooking oil and fry the pancakes on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
