INGREDIENTES
Main
- 🥔 3 medium potatoes (350g)
- 🌭 8 sausages
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- A pinch of pepper
- Enough breadcrumbs for coating
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
Batter
- 🥚 1 egg
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 💧 1 tbsp water
Garnish
- 🍅 Enough ketchup for serving
PASOS
Cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces and soak in water. Drain and microwave for 6 minutes at 600W. Mash with a fork while hot and mix with flour, salt, and pepper to form a dough. Chill in the refrigerator.
Insert toothpicks into sausages. Wrap each sausage with 1/8 of the potato dough, ensuring the sausage is fully covered. Repeat for all 8 sausages.
Prepare the batter by mixing an egg, flour, and water in a shallow dish. Dip the wrapped sausages into the batter and coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat vegetable oil to 170°C in a deep pan. Fry the coated sausages for about 3 minutes until golden and crispy.
Serve on a plate with ketchup on the side.
