INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 150g thinly sliced pork
Vegetables
- 4 shiso leaves
Eggs
- 🥚 6 boiled quail eggs
Seasonings
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- Potato starch as needed
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
PASOS
Lay out plastic wrap and arrange the pork slices slightly overlapping. Season with salt and pepper, then place shiso leaves and quail eggs at one end. Roll tightly from the edge and wrap with the plastic wrap to set the shape.
Coat the rolled pork with potato starch evenly.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the rolls and cook, turning occasionally, until evenly browned.
Add the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, soy sauce, sugar) to the pan and simmer until the rolls are coated and the sauce thickens. Remove and cut into bite-sized pieces.
