INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 25g mochi, diced into 1cm cubes
- 🐙 20g boiled octopus, chopped
- 40g sausage, sliced into 1cm pieces
- 🧅 15g chopped green onion
- 2 tbsp pickled ginger, chopped
- 3 tbsp tempura flakes
- 2 tbsp salad oil
Batter
- 🥚 1 egg
- 💧 300ml water
- 100g takoyaki flour
Toppings
- Takoyaki sauce, as needed
- Bonito flakes, as needed
- Aonori (seaweed flakes), as needed
PASOS
Dice the mochi into 1cm cubes and chop the pickled ginger.
Cut the boiled octopus into small pieces and slice the sausage into 1cm widths.
In a bowl, mix the egg and water, then add takoyaki flour and stir until smooth to make the batter.
Heat the takoyaki pan with salad oil, pour in the batter, and add mochi, octopus, sausage, green onion, pickled ginger, and tempura flakes. Cook until the edges start to set.
Use skewers to roll the takoyaki balls, cooking until golden brown.
Plate the takoyaki, brush with sauce, and garnish with bonito flakes and aonori.
