- 🐟 200g salmon fillets
- 🥬 100g spinach
- 🧅 100g onion, sliced
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 🧀 60g shredded pizza cheese
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
White Sauce
- 🧈 30g unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🥛 300ml milk
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
PASOS
Wash spinach thoroughly, cut into 3cm pieces, and slice the onion. Microwave spinach and onion with 1 tbsp water for 2 minutes at 600W. Rinse with cold water and squeeze out excess water.
Pat dry the salmon fillets with a paper towel, cut into bite-sized pieces, and season with salt, pepper, and flour.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the salmon skin-side down until golden, then flip and cook through.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter for 30 seconds at 600W. Stir in flour until smooth.
Gradually add milk to the butter-flour mixture, stirring constantly. Add salt and microwave for 2 minutes at 600W, stir, then microwave for another 2 minutes until thickened.
Combine the spinach, onion, salmon, and white sauce. Transfer to a gratin dish, top with cheese and breadcrumbs, and bake in a toaster oven for 10 minutes until golden.
