INGREDIENTES
Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (300g)
Fish
- 2 fillets of Pacific saury
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion, sliced
- 2 pieces ginger, julienned
- Kaiware sprouts, as needed
Seasoning
- All-purpose flour, as needed
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- 🌰 White sesame seeds, as needed
Sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
PASOS
Slice the green onion diagonally and julienne the ginger. Cut the Pacific saury into bite-sized pieces.
Mix sake, mirin, soy sauce, and ginger in a tray to prepare the marinade. Place the Pacific saury skin-side down in the marinade for 5 minutes, then flip and marinate for another 5 minutes.
Remove the Pacific saury from the marinade and coat it evenly with all-purpose flour.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the Pacific saury skin-side down and cook until golden brown.
Flip the Pacific saury, add the marinade and green onion, and bring to a boil. Simmer while stirring until the sauce thickens and coats the fish.
Serve cooked rice in a bowl, place the Pacific saury on top, garnish with sesame seeds and kaiware sprouts, and drizzle the remaining sauce from the pan.
