INGREDIENTES
Main
- 🍗 4 chicken tenders (200g)
- 🧀 2 slices of cheese
- 4 shiso leaves
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Coating
- 🌾 Enough flour for coating
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
- 🍞 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Frying
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
PASOS
Trim the stems off the shiso leaves.
Cut the cheese slices in half and fold them into quarters.
Remove the tendons from the chicken tenders, butterfly them by slicing through the center, and flatten them evenly with a light tap. Season with salt and pepper.
Place the cheese wrapped in shiso leaves at one end of the chicken tender and roll it up. Repeat for all tenders.
Coat the chicken rolls in flour, dip them in beaten egg, and cover them with breadcrumbs.
Heat vegetable oil to 170°C (340°F) in a pot, and fry the chicken rolls for about 5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
