INGREDIENTES
Bean Sprout Cooking Ingredients
- 220g bean sprouts
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 💧 700ml water
Seasoning
- 🍬 1/5 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
- 🧅 a small amount of green onion
- 🧄 1 tsp minced garlic
- 🌰 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
PASOS
Boil water with salt to increase the boiling point and lightly season the bean sprouts.
Add bean sprouts to the boiling water and cook for 1–2 minutes. Do not rinse with cold water.
Drain the bean sprouts and let the steam dissipate.
Start seasoning by adding sugar first to enhance umami flavor.
Add chili powder and mix gently to coat the bean sprouts evenly.
Add fish sauce to deepen the flavor after sugar has been absorbed.
Mix in garlic, green onion, and sesame seeds, then finish with sesame oil.
