- 1/3 daikon radish
Protein
- 200g chicken thigh
Oil
- 2 tsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tsp yuzu pepper
- Chopped green onion, as needed
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi powder

Cut the daikon radish and chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces. Place the daikon in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 4 minutes.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until its color changes, then add the daikon and stir-fry together.
Once the ingredients are coated with oil, add the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, soy sauce, dashi powder, and water). Bring to a boil, then cover with a drop lid and simmer on low heat for 12 minutes.
When the daikon becomes tender, add the yuzu pepper and mix well. Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
