    • 150cc water
    • 1/4 tsp Japanese dashi powder
    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce

Wash kiriboshi daikon in water while rubbing gently, then soak in plenty of water for 10 minutes to rehydrate. Squeeze out excess water.

Rinse kiri kombu briefly in water, drain, and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat, add kiriboshi daikon and kiri kombu, and stir-fry for about 2 minutes until coated with oil.

Add the seasoning ingredients (water, dashi powder, mirin, soy sauce) and mix well. Bring to a boil, cover with a lid, and simmer over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes.
