- 🥔 3 boiled potatoes
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1 pinch salt
- 🧀 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
Sauce Ingredients
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp rice wine
PASOS
Boil the potatoes until fully cooked.
Mash the boiled potatoes and mix with potato starch, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Adjust the dough consistency with starch.
Take a portion of the dough and insert cheddar cheese inside. Shape into small round balls.
Heat a pan with cooking oil and fry the potato balls until golden brown. Set aside.
Prepare the sauce by combining soy sauce, sugar, corn syrup, and rice wine in a pan. Simmer until slightly thickened.
Add the fried potato balls to the sauce and coat them evenly.
Let the cheese potatoes cool slightly, then skewer them onto sticks for serving.
