- 🍗 20 chicken wings
- 🥛 Enough milk to cover chicken
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion
- 1/2 cup soju
Seasoning
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp rice wine
- 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
PASOS
Prepare 20 chicken wings.
Soak the chicken wings in milk for 30 minutes to remove odors.
Rinse the chicken wings and drain the milk. Pat dry.
Optional: For frozen or strong-smelling chicken, blanch in boiling water with 1/2 cup soju for 3 minutes, then rinse.
Mix soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, rice wine, ketchup, and corn syrup in a deep pan.
Add the chicken wings and large-cut green onion to the pan.
Cover the pan and simmer on medium heat for 20 minutes.
Uncover the pan and simmer on medium-high heat for 10 minutes to reduce the sauce.
Remove the green onion and serve the chicken wings.
