INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 300g rice cakes
- 2 sheets fish cakes
- 1 pack ramen noodles
- 🧅 A small amount of green onion
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- A small amount of black pepper
- 💧 400ml water
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
PASOS
Prepare rice cakes, fish cakes, ramen noodles, and chop green onions.
Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and add soy sauce, sugar, gochujang, chili powder, and black pepper. Stir-fry the seasoning.
Once the seasoning starts to boil, add 400ml water (or 300ml if skipping ramen noodles).
Add rice cakes, fish cakes, and ramen noodles to the boiling sauce.
When the mixture boils, add chopped green onions.
Once the sauce thickens, add 1 tbsp corn syrup and stir well.
Serve as a soup-style tteokbokki or with ramen noodles for a heartier dish.
