INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 300g pork belly block
Vegetables
- 6 taro roots (300g)
- 1 piece ginger
- Chopped green onion, as needed
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp doubanjiang
- 💧 150ml water
PASOS
Cut the pork belly into 1cm slices, then halve them.
Peel the taro, cut in half, and soak in water. Rinse 2–3 times until the water runs clear, then drain.
Slice the ginger thinly.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the pork and cook until browned on both sides.
Add the taro and stir-fry until coated with oil. Add ginger and the ☆ seasonings, mix well, and cover with a drop lid. Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
Remove the drop lid and simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the liquid reduces.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
