    • 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
    • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

Clean the squid by removing the entrails, cartilage, and beak. Slice the body into 1cm rings and cut the tentacles into 4cm pieces.

Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Separate the bok choy leaves from the stems and chop them. Mince the ginger.

Heat salad oil and minced ginger in a frying pan over medium heat until fragrant. Add the squid and stir-fry until it changes color, then remove from the pan.

In the same pan, add cabbage, bok choy stems, and water. Cover and steam over medium heat for 1 minute.

Return the squid to the pan, add bok choy leaves and the seasoning mixture (sake, soy sauce, doubanjiang, oyster sauce). Stir-fry everything together.
