INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 150g thinly sliced pork
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 🥕 1/4 carrot
- 2 bell peppers
Seasoning
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Sweet and Sour Sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 tsp chicken broth powder
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 80ml water
PASOS
Cut the onion into 8 wedges. Slice the carrot into bite-sized pieces and microwave for 3 minutes at 600W. Halve the bell peppers, remove seeds, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
In a bowl, mix the pork with soy sauce, salt, pepper, and cornstarch. Shape into bite-sized balls.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Add the pork balls and cook over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan.
In the same pan, stir-fry the onion over medium heat until softened. Add the carrot and bell peppers, stir-frying for 1 minute. Remove from the pan.
Mix the sweet and sour sauce ingredients in the pan and bring to a boil. Once thickened, return the pork and vegetables to the pan and coat evenly.
