INGREDIENTES

  • Main Ingredients

    • 300g firm tofu
    • 🥚 2 boiled eggs
    • 300g daikon radish
    • 80g konjac
    • 2 pieces fish cake
    • 2 grilled chikuwa
  • Seasonings

    • 2 tbsp sake
    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • 1.5 tbsp light soy sauce
    • 1/2 tsp dashi powder
    • 500ml water
  • Preparation

    • 1 tbsp rice for boiling daikon

PASOS

1

Cut daikon into 2cm slices, peel thickly, and round the edges. Make cross cuts on one side. Place daikon in a microwave-safe container with rice and enough water to cover. Microwave at 600W for 5 minutes, flip, and microwave for another 5 minutes.

2

Score konjac with shallow cuts in a grid pattern, then cut into triangles. Boil konjac in water for 3 minutes, then drain.

3

Cut firm tofu into quarters.

4

Slice grilled chikuwa diagonally into halves.

5

Place fish cakes in a colander and pour boiling water over them to remove excess oil.

6

In a pot, combine all seasonings and bring to a boil. Add daikon, konjac, and tofu. Cover and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes. Add chikuwa, fish cakes, and boiled eggs, then cover and simmer for another 10 minutes.
