- 300g ground pork
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion, minced (100g)
- 15 frozen green peas

PASOS
Mince the onion finely.
Slice the shumai wrappers into 5mm strips.
In a plastic bag, combine ground pork, minced onion, and seasoning ingredients (sake, soy sauce, ginger, potato starch). Knead until sticky to form the meat mixture.
Spread half of the shumai wrapper strips evenly in a frying pan. Flatten the meat mixture on top, then cover with the remaining shumai wrapper strips. Press lightly to adhere. Arrange green peas evenly on top.
Pour water into the pan, cover with a lid, and heat on medium-high until steaming. Reduce to low heat and steam for 7–8 minutes until the meat is cooked. Remove the lid and heat for 1–2 minutes to evaporate excess water.
