Abalone Porridge Ingredients
- 🐚 8 abalones
- 🍚 2 cups glutinous rice
- 🥚 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- A small amount of sesame oil
- 🧂 Salt to taste
ÉTAPES
Clean the abalones thoroughly using a kitchen brush.
Separate the abalone meat from the shell using a spoon.
Boil the abalone shells to make a broth.
Soak glutinous rice for 1 hour and drain the water.
Heat sesame oil in a wok and stir-fry the soaked rice.
Gradually add the abalone shell broth while stirring the rice.
Cook the rice until it starts to soften and thicken.
Add sliced abalone meat to the porridge and continue stirring.
Blend the abalone innards with half a cup of broth and add to the porridge.
Beat 2 eggs and stir them into the porridge.
Season with salt to taste and continue stirring until fully cooked.
Serve the porridge in bowls, optionally topped with sesame oil and seaweed flakes.
