INGRÉDIENTS
Tofu
- 🥢 300g silken tofu
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Vegetables
- 150g grated daikon
- 🧅 2 green onions, sliced
- A pinch of grated ginger
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- A pinch of dashi powder
- 💧 200ml water
ÉTAPES
Cut the tofu into halves and then into bite-sized pieces. Wrap in kitchen paper, place on a tray, and weigh down for 20 minutes.
Grate the daikon and drain the excess water. Slice the green onions thinly.
Pat the tofu dry and coat evenly with potato starch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the tofu until golden brown on all sides and transfer to a serving plate.
Wipe the pan clean and add the seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, salt, soy sauce, dashi powder, and water). Heat until simmering and pour over the tofu.
Top the tofu with grated daikon, ginger, and sliced green onions.
