INGRÉDIENTS
Seafood
- 🐙 100g boiled octopus
Oil
- As needed salad oil
Vegetables
- As needed mitsuba (optional)
Flour
- 80g cake flour
Egg Mixture
- 🥚 2 eggs
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 400cc hot water
Dashi Broth
- 1/4 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 200cc water
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
ÉTAPES
Cut the boiled octopus into 1cm cubes.
Cut mitsuba into 2-3cm pieces.
Mix the egg mixture ingredients in a bowl.
Sift the cake flour into the egg mixture and mix well.
Heat a takoyaki pan with a thin layer of salad oil over medium heat. Pour the batter generously into the molds and add octopus pieces.
When the edges turn golden and the center is semi-cooked, use skewers to fold in the excess batter and flip the pieces. Cook until both sides are golden brown.
Heat the dashi broth ingredients in a pot.
Serve the Akashiyaki with mitsuba and dashi broth on the side.
