- 🍚 2 cups washed rice

- 🦪 200g clams, cleaned
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion, minced
- 🌽 80g canned corn
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, minced
- 🌿 Chopped parsley, as needed

- 🧈 20g salted butter
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
Liquids
- 2 tbsp sake
- Clam steaming liquid, as needed
- 💧 Water, as needed
ÉTAPES
Mince the onion and garlic. Chop the parsley.
Wash the clams by rubbing their shells together.
Steam the clams with sake in a pot over medium heat for about 3 minutes until the shells open. Separate the clams and the steaming liquid. Combine the liquid with water to make 360ml clam broth.
Heat butter in a frying pan, add onion and garlic, and sauté over low heat until the onion softens (about 2 minutes). Add rice and corn, and stir-fry over medium heat until the rice becomes translucent.
Add the clam broth and seasonings (salt and pepper). Bring to a boil, cover, and cook over low heat for 10–15 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it steam for 10 minutes with the lid on. Mix in the clams and parsley before serving.
