INGRÉDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 540ml rice
Fish
- 🐟 400g salmon fillets
- 100g ikura (salmon roe)
Vegetables
- 1 bunch mitsuba
- 25g julienned ginger
Liquid
- 💧 1 cup water
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
ÉTAPES
Place the salmon fillets in a pot with water, sake, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and salt. Simmer until the salmon is cooked through.
Remove the salmon from the pot and set aside. Reserve the cooking liquid.
Wash the rice thoroughly and place it in a clay pot. Add the reserved cooking liquid and julienned ginger.
Cook the rice in the clay pot over medium heat until fully cooked.
Flake the cooked salmon and layer it on top of the rice. Garnish with ikura and chopped mitsuba.
