INGRÉDIENTS
Grains
- 🍚 2 cups soaked rice
Vegetables
- 50g boiled bamboo shoots
- 15g julienned ginger
- 2g dried wakame
Liquids
- 💧 Water as needed
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
ÉTAPES
Rehydrate wakame in plenty of water, drain, and cut into 2cm pieces. Slice bamboo shoots into bite-sized pieces and julienne ginger.
Add soaked rice, seasonings (sake, soy sauce, dashi powder, salt), and water to the 2-cup line in the rice cooker. Mix well and flatten the rice.
Place bamboo shoots and ginger on top of the rice and cook using the regular rice setting.
Once cooked, add wakame to the rice, mix gently, and let sit for 5 minutes.
