    • 1/3 bag (70g) of bean sprouts
    • 1 shiso leaf

    • 1/2 tbsp sake
    • 1/2 tbsp potato starch
    • 1 tsp salad oil
    • 1/2 tbsp sake (for sauce)
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tsp white sesame seeds

Tear hanpen into small pieces in a bowl, add sake, and mash while mixing. Add potato starch and mix, then add bean sprouts and fold them while mixing. Divide into three portions and shape into oval patties.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the patties in the pan and cook until both sides are golden brown. Add the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, soy sauce, sesame seeds) and coat the patties.

Serve cooked rice in a bowl, place the patties on top, and drizzle the remaining sauce from the pan. Tear the shiso leaf and garnish on top.
