- 400g bean sprouts
- 500g pork
- 1 stalk green onion
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 1 chili pepper
- 20 perilla leaves
- A pinch of black pepper
- A pinch of sesame seeds
Seasoning Sauce
- 3 tbsp gochujang
- 3 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp cooking wine
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp sugar
ÉTAPES
Rinse the bean sprouts thoroughly and remove any spoiled parts.
Pat the pork dry with a paper towel to remove excess blood.
Slice the onion thinly and cut the chili pepper and green onion diagonally.
Cut the stems off the perilla leaves and slice them into thick strips.
Mix gochujang, red pepper flakes, soy sauce, cooking wine, minced garlic, and sugar in a bowl to make the seasoning sauce.
Layer the bean sprouts on the bottom of a wide pan.
Add half of the seasoning sauce on top of the bean sprouts.
Add the sliced perilla leaves, followed by the pork.
Top with sliced onion and chili pepper, then pour the remaining seasoning sauce and sprinkle sesame seeds.
Turn on the heat and let the ingredients cook without stirring initially.
Once the ingredients start to shrink and blend, stir gently with a spatula.
When the pork is fully cooked, turn off the heat and sprinkle black pepper to finish.
