INGRÉDIENTS
Beef and Daikon with Gochujang
- 🥩 120g thinly sliced beef
- 🥔 90g daikon, 2–3cm thick slices
- 1 piece julienned ginger
- 💧 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 🍚 1 bowl cooked rice
Three-color Namul
- 1 bunch chopped komatsuna
- 🥕 30g julienned carrot
- 1/8 yellow paprika, julienned
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp white sesame seeds
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 🍬 1/4 tsp sugar
ÉTAPES
Marinate beef with soy sauce. Cut daikon into 1cm thick slices.
Heat sesame oil and ginger in a pot over low heat. Add beef and increase heat to cook thoroughly.
Add mirin, sugar, and water to the pot. Bring to a boil, then dissolve gochujang. Cover and simmer until liquid reduces.
Prepare vegetables: chop komatsuna, julienne carrot and paprika.
Mix sesame oil, salt, sugar, and sesame seeds in a bowl.
Combine vegetables in a microwave-safe dish, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 40–50 seconds.
Squeeze excess water from vegetables and mix with the seasoning.
Reheat beef and daikon in the microwave for 5 minutes. Serve over rice in a bento box with namul on the side.
