Main Ingredients
- 🥩 150g sliced beef
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
- 5g dried wheat gluten
- 🥚 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
- 🧅 1 tbsp chopped green onion
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 150cc water
ÉTAPES
Slice the onion thinly.
Rehydrate the wheat gluten in water and squeeze out excess moisture.
Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat and stir-fry the beef until its color changes.
Add sliced onion to the pot and stir-fry until softened. Add the seasonings (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, dashi powder, and water) and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Add the rehydrated wheat gluten and simmer briefly. Pour the beaten egg over the mixture and lightly stir once the edges begin to set. Turn off the heat.
Serve in a bowl and garnish with chopped green onion.
