INGRÉDIENTS

  • Main

    • 🥩 2 pieces (250g) beef sirloin steak
    • 🧅 1/2 onion (100g), minced
    • 🧄 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
    • 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
    • 1 tbsp salad oil
    • Chopped green onion, as needed
  • Sauce

    • 2 tbsp sake
    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce

ÉTAPES

1

Take the beef out of the refrigerator and bring it to room temperature. Sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper just before cooking.

2

Mince the onion and thinly slice the garlic, removing the core.

3

Heat garlic and salad oil in a frying pan over low heat until the garlic turns golden brown. Remove the garlic and set aside. Increase to medium heat and add the beef, cooking for 2 minutes on each side.

4

Remove the beef and wrap it in aluminum foil. Let it rest for about 5 minutes.

5

In the same pan, sauté the minced onion over low heat for 3–4 minutes until lightly browned and translucent. Add the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, soy sauce) and simmer while stirring.

6

Slice the beef into bite-sized pieces and plate. Pour the onion sauce over the beef, garnish with green onion, and sprinkle with the fried garlic.
