INGRÉDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 small onion, sliced
- 2 small bok choy, chopped
- 🍄 8 mushrooms, sliced
- 2 handfuls of chopped chives
Condiments
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Optional
- 1 chili, sliced
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
- Pinch of pepper
Thickening Agent
- 💧 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
ÉTAPES
Prepare all ingredients: slice onion, bok choy, mushrooms, and chives. Mix water and cornstarch to create slurry.
Heat 2 tbsp of cooking oil in a pan. Add minced garlic and sliced onion, stir-fry for 15–20 seconds until softened.
Add bok choy and stir-fry for another 15–20 seconds.
Add mushrooms, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Stir-fry briefly to combine flavors.
Pour the cornstarch slurry into the pan and mix well with the ingredients.
Turn off the heat, add chopped chives and sesame oil. Optionally, add sliced chili for spice.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Serve the stir-fry over hot rice for a complete meal.
