Main Ingredients
- 🍗 6 chicken drumettes (360g)
- 200g bamboo shoots (boiled)
- 3 green beans
Aromatics
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 piece ginger, minced
Cooking Oil
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp red chili (sliced)
- 💧 200ml water
ÉTAPES
Pat the chicken drumettes dry with a paper towel.
Cut the bamboo shoots into bite-sized pieces. Trim the ends of the green beans and slice them diagonally into 1cm pieces. Microwave the green beans with 1 tbsp water for 40 seconds at 600W, then rinse under cold water and drain.
Mince the garlic and ginger.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over low heat. Add garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant. Add the chicken drumettes and bamboo shoots, and cook over medium heat, turning the chicken until browned.
Add all the seasonings (sake, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, red chili, and water) to the pan. Bring to a boil, cover with a lid, and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Add the green beans and cook briefly.
