Meat
- 🐖 150g pork belly block
Vegetables
- 🥔 120g daikon, cut into chunks
- 🌱 3 slices ginger
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion (green part)
Eggs
- 🥚 1 boiled egg
Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 150ml water
ÉTAPES
Cut the daikon into halves lengthwise, then into chunks.
Cut the pork belly into 4 equal pieces.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat and sear the pork until browned on all sides.
Mix the seasoning ingredients (sake, sugar, soy sauce, water) in the rice cooker pot. Add the pork, daikon, ginger, and green onion.
Cook using the standard rice cooking setting. Once done, add the boiled egg and let it sit in the 'keep warm' mode for 15 minutes.
