INGRÉDIENTS
Meat
- 300g pork belly block
Vegetables
- 🧄 5 cloves garlic
- 1 stalk green onion
- 1 piece ginger
Eggs
- 🥚 2 boiled eggs
Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 200ml water
- 100ml ponzu soy sauce
ÉTAPES
Cut the pork belly into 1.5cm slices. Slice the green onion into 3cm pieces and julienne the ginger.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the pork belly and cook until browned. Flip the pork, then add garlic and green onion, cooking until browned.
Add sake, mirin, water, and ponzu soy sauce to the pan. Bring to a boil, then add ginger. Reduce heat to low, cover with a drop lid, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove the drop lid and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes to reduce the sauce. Turn off the heat, add boiled eggs, and cover with the drop lid again. Let cool, occasionally turning the eggs.
