- 🐖 500g frozen pork belly
Vegetables
- 🧅 1 stalk green onion, chopped
- 100g shishito peppers
Seasonings
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
ÉTAPES
Prepare minced garlic and chop green onion.
Cook the pork belly in a pan until golden brown.
Add chopped green onion to the pan and stir-fry to release its aroma.
Add 1 tbsp sugar and stir well.
Pour water into the pan until ingredients are partially submerged and bring to a simmer.
Add 1 tbsp minced garlic and mix thoroughly.
Add 1/3 cup soy sauce and stir well.
Prepare shishito peppers and optionally mix with chili peppers for added spice.
Add shishito peppers to the pan and continue simmering.
Simmer until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
