INGRÉDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 1 block tofu
- 2 stalks green onion (20cm each)
- 🧅 1/2 onion
Seasonings
- 4 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp gochujang
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 🍬 1.5 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2.5 cups rice water
- A pinch of black pepper
ÉTAPES
Slice the tofu into 7 long pieces and pat dry with a paper towel.
Cut the onion into thick slices and the green onion into 5cm pieces, then halve them lengthwise.
Mix all seasoning ingredients in a bowl.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu on both sides until golden brown.
Add onion and green onion to the pan, pour the seasoning mixture, and bring to a boil over high heat.
Cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce reduces to 2/3 of its original volume.
