- 1 block tofu
Seasoning
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp plum extract
- 1.5 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 💧 1/2 cup water
- Sprinkle sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with a kitchen towel. Sprinkle a little salt for seasoning.
Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, minced garlic, chili powder, plum extract, corn syrup, sesame oil, and water.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu until golden brown on both sides.
Pour the prepared sauce over the tofu and simmer. Occasionally spoon the sauce over the tofu and flip to ensure even coating.
Transfer the tofu to a plate and sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
