INGRÉDIENTS

  • Fish

    • 200g yellowtail fillets
  • Vegetables

    • 180g daikon radish
    • 2 slices ginger
  • Seasonings

    • 1/3 tsp dashi powder
    • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp miso
  • Liquids

    • 200cc water

ÉTAPES

1

Cut the daikon into thirds, peel thickly, and halve. Boil the daikon in a pot with enough water to cover until tender, about 12–15 minutes.

2

Sprinkle salt on the yellowtail fillets and let sit for 10 minutes. Place the fillets in a strainer and pour hot water over them to remove excess moisture.

3

In a pot, combine dashi powder, sugar, and water. Heat until boiling, then add the yellowtail and ginger. Cover and simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

4

Add the daikon to the pot. Once boiling, add soy sauce, cover, and simmer over low heat for 5–7 minutes.

5

Dissolve miso into the pot and heat until just before boiling. Turn off the heat and serve.
