INGRÉDIENTS
Fish
- 200g buri fillet (2 pieces)
Egg
- 🥚 2 boiled eggs
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
Oil
- As needed salad oil
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- A pinch of pepper
Coating
- As needed all-purpose flour
- As needed breadcrumbs
Sauce
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1/2 tbsp ponzu soy sauce
- 🧅 1 tbsp chopped green onion
ÉTAPES
Pat dry the buri fillets with paper towels and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
Coat the buri pieces in flour, then beaten egg, and finally breadcrumbs.
Heat salad oil in a pot to 180°C and fry the coated buri pieces for about 3 minutes until golden brown.
Finely chop the boiled eggs.
Mix the chopped eggs with mayonnaise, ponzu soy sauce, and chopped green onion in a bowl to make the tartar sauce.
Serve the fried buri katsu on a plate and accompany with the Japanese-style tartar sauce.
