INGRÉDIENTS
Fish
- 200g buri fillet
Vegetables
- 🥕 1/4 carrot, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, julienned
- 🧅 1/3 green onion, thinly sliced
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- Enough salad oil for frying
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Nanban Sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp vinegar
- 🧂 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sliced chili
- 💧 150ml water
ÉTAPES
Slice the green onion thinly, julienne the carrot and bell pepper.
Mix the sliced vegetables with the Nanban sauce ingredients in a microwave-safe container. Cover loosely and microwave at 600W for 2 minutes, then let cool.
Pat the buri fillet dry, cut into bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper, and coat evenly with cornstarch.
Heat 2cm of salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C and fry the buri pieces until crispy.
Immediately transfer the fried buri into the cooled Nanban sauce and let marinate for 10 minutes.
