INGRÉDIENTS
Noodles
- 1 frozen udon noodle pack
Vegetables
- 🥬 1 lettuce leaf (30g)
Protein
- 🥓 4 slices of bacon
- 🥚 1 onsen egg
Cheese
- 🧀 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Sauce Base
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder
- 💧 120 ml water
Dressing
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp unsweetened yogurt
- 🧄 1/3 tsp grated garlic
- A pinch of black pepper
- 🧀 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
ÉTAPES
Prepare the sauce by heating mirin, soy sauce, dashi powder, and water in a pot until just before boiling. Transfer to a heatproof container and chill in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes.
Cut the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
Cut the bacon into 1 cm strips and cook in a toaster oven for 5 minutes.
Mix mayonnaise, yogurt, grated garlic, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese in a bowl to make the dressing.
Boil the udon noodles according to the package instructions. Rinse with cold water and submerge in ice water to cool.
Assemble the dish by placing the udon noodles in a bowl. Top with lettuce, bacon, Parmesan cheese, and the onsen egg. Drizzle with the dressing and pour the chilled sauce over.
