INGRÉDIENTS
Wrapper
- 24 gyoza wrappers
Filling
- 150g ground chicken
- 200g bean sprouts
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Cooking
- 1.5 tbsp vegetable oil
- 💧 200cc water
Dipping Sauce
- Vinegar to taste
- Soy sauce to taste
ÉTAPES
In a bowl, combine all filling ingredients (☆). Break the bean sprouts into smaller pieces as you mix.
Place 1/24 of the filling onto a gyoza wrapper. Wet the edges with water, fold, and seal the wrapper by pinching the sides together to form a cross shape. Repeat for all wrappers.
Heat half the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Arrange 12 gyoza in the pan and cook until the bottoms are golden brown.
Add half the water (100cc) to the pan, cover with a lid, and steam on low heat for 4 minutes. Remove the lid and cook on medium heat until the water evaporates and the bottoms are crispy. Repeat for the remaining gyoza.
Serve the gyoza with a dipping sauce made of vinegar and soy sauce.
