INGRÉDIENTS
Protein
- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 🥕 1 carrot (150g)
- 🧅 1 green onion (80g)
Cooking Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasonings
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 💧 150cc water
- 1 1/2 tbsp miso
- 🌾 2 tbsp white sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Cut the chicken thigh into large bite-sized pieces.
Slice the carrot into irregular bite-sized pieces and cut the green onion diagonally into 1cm slices.
Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat. Place the chicken skin-side down and sauté until the color changes. Add the carrot and stir until coated with oil.
Add mirin and water, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 7–8 minutes.
Add green onion and dissolve miso into the mixture. Stir well, cover, and simmer for another 3 minutes.
Increase to medium heat and simmer until the liquid reduces by half. Stir in white sesame seeds before serving.
