Wash spinach, cut into 3cm pieces, and microwave for 2 minutes at 600W. Rinse with water and squeeze out excess moisture. Slice the onion thinly.

Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.

Heat salad oil in a pan, add chicken, and cook until the surface changes color. Add onion and sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.

Add water to the pan, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.

Boil spaghetti in salted water for 2 minutes less than the package instructions. Drain the water.

Add spaghetti and butter to the pan from step 4. Stir until the butter melts over medium-low heat.
