Sushi Rice
- 700g cooked white rice
- 5 shiso leaves, thinly sliced
- 40cc vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Teriyaki Chicken
- 300g chicken thigh
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Egg Topping
- 🥚 2 eggs
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
Avocado Topping
- 🥑 1 avocado, diced
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- to taste mayonnaise
- to taste chopped green onion
- to taste toasted sesame seeds
- to taste shredded nori
ÉTAPES
Thinly slice shiso leaves and dice avocado. Toss avocado with lemon juice to prevent browning.
Cut chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
Mix eggs with sugar to prepare egg mixture.
Heat a pan with vegetable oil and cook the egg mixture into thin sheets. Slice into strips once cooled.
Heat a pan with vegetable oil and cook chicken until browned. Add soy sauce, mirin, and sugar, then simmer until sauce thickens.
Mix vinegar, sugar, and salt into cooked rice. Add sesame seeds and shiso leaves, then mix gently.
Layer sushi rice in a large serving dish. Top with avocado, egg strips, teriyaki chicken, mayonnaise, green onion, sesame seeds, and shredded nori.
