Main
- 🍗 1 chicken breast
- 100g bamboo shoots (boiled)
- 6 green beans
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- Enough flour for coating
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
Batter
- 🥚 1 egg
- 4 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 💧 2 tbsp water
- 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
ÉTAPES
Cut bamboo shoots into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with a paper towel. Coat with flour. Trim green beans and cut into quarters. Coat with flour.
Slice chicken breast diagonally into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper, then coat with flour.
Mix all batter ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
Combine balsamic vinegar and soy sauce in a separate bowl to make the sauce.
Heat vegetable oil to 170°C in a pot. Dip bamboo shoots into batter and fry for about 30 seconds until lightly golden. Repeat with green beans and fry in batches. Fry chicken pieces for about 2 minutes until cooked through.
Plate the fried items and drizzle with balsamic sauce before serving.
