Main Ingredients
- 🍗 1 chicken breast
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1/2 pack shimeji mushrooms
Coating
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Garnish
- Chopped green onion, as needed
Marinade
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🍯 1/2 tbsp honey
ÉTAPES
Slice the onion thinly and separate the shimeji mushrooms into small clusters.
Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, place in a bowl, and mix with the marinade ingredients. Coat with cornstarch.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the chicken until browned.
Add the onion and shimeji mushrooms to the pan and stir-fry until softened.
Add the sauce ingredients, mix well, cover the pan, and steam over low heat for 2 minutes.
Remove the lid, increase the heat, and stir-fry until the sauce thickens and water evaporates. Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
