INGRÉDIENTS
Main
- 🍗 1 piece (300g) chicken thigh
- 🧅 1/4 onion (50g), minced
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
Onion Sauce
- 🧄 1/3 tsp grated garlic
- A pinch of chili powder
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/3 tsp dried parsley
Sweet and Savory Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
ÉTAPES
Mince the onion finely.
In a microwave-safe bowl, mix the minced onion with all Onion Sauce ingredients except parsley. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 1 minute. Stir in parsley.
Cut the chicken thigh in half horizontally and make small cuts in thicker parts. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat 1/2 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Place the chicken skin-side down and press with a spatula. Cook for 7-8 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked.
Remove excess oil from the pan with a paper towel. Add Sweet and Savory Sauce ingredients to the pan and heat over medium heat. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Plate the chicken, top with Onion Sauce, and drizzle with Sweet and Savory Sauce.
