INGRÉDIENTS
Main
- 🍗 1 chicken breast (250g)
- 🧅 1/4 onion (50g), thinly sliced
- 🥕 1/3 carrot (50g), julienned
- 1/2 pack kaiware (25g)
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 5 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 💧 100ml water
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 chili, deseeded
ÉTAPES
Thinly slice the onion, julienne the carrot, and trim the kaiware. Remove the stem and seeds from the chili.
Mix the sauce ingredients (water, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, chili) in a bowl.
Spread the onion, carrot, and kaiware in a tray and pour the sauce over them.
Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper, and coat with flour.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces skin-side down for 2 minutes, flip, and fry for another 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
Place the fried chicken into the tray with the sauce and vegetables. Toss to coat and let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
