- 🍗 300g chicken thigh meat
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- A pinch of pepper
- A pinch of basil powder
- 🧈 1 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Garnish Ingredients
- 🥔 1 potato, peeled and sliced
- 🥦 100g asparagus, trimmed
Sauce Ingredients
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp corn syrup
- 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
- A pinch of pepper
ÉTAPES
Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and basil powder, and let them marinate.
Prepare garnish ingredients by slicing potatoes and trimming asparagus.
Heat olive oil in a preheated pan and add the marinated chicken thighs, skin side down.
Add potatoes to the pan as they take longer to cook.
Cook chicken on high heat for 1 minute on each side.
Reduce heat to low, add butter and prepared vegetables, and cover the pan to cook for 5 minutes.
Remove asparagus early and continue cooking chicken and potatoes for 2-3 more minutes.
Remove cooked ingredients from the pan and prepare the sauce by simmering soy sauce, corn syrup, ketchup, and pepper.
Plate the cooked ingredients and drizzle the sauce over them.
