INGRÉDIENTS
Main
- 🍗 500g chicken thighs
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Marinade
- 2 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🧄 1 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
Side Dish
- 🥬 Lettuce, as needed
- 🍅 Cherry tomatoes, as needed
ÉTAPES
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels, remove excess fat and tendons, and poke holes in the skin with a fork. Season with salt and pepper.
Place the chicken and marinade ingredients (sake, sugar, oyster sauce, garlic, soy sauce) into a resealable bag. Massage well and refrigerate for about 3 hours.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Cook the chicken skin-side down for 5–6 minutes until golden brown. Flip, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 3–4 minutes.
Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces and serve on a plate with lettuce and cherry tomatoes.
